Frequently asked questions
How much bass boost should I use?
Around +6 dB adds warmth, +9 to +12 dB gives a heavy, club-style bass. Above that, phone and laptop speakers tend to rattle.
Which frequencies are boosted?
A low shelf raises everything below about 110 Hz, where kick drums and bass lines sit, and leaves vocals and higher notes as they are.
Can I reduce the bass instead?
Yes. Move the Bass slider below 0 dB to take some low end out.
Is my song uploaded?
