How it works

Frequently asked questions
Is my recording uploaded?
No. The audio is recorded and saved by your browser and never sent to a server.
How long can I record?
There is no fixed limit. The recording is kept in your browser’s memory, so very long sessions of several hours depend on your device.
Why doesn’t the recorder hear me?
Check that the browser may use the microphone (the icon in the address bar) and that the right microphone is selected. The Mic Test page shows your input level live.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in Safari on iPhone and iPad and in Chrome on Android. Keep the page open while you record.
