How it works

Frequently asked questions
Does changing the pitch change the speed?
No. The pitch moves by the semitones you choose and the length stays the same. If you want both to change together, turn on “Change the pitch with the speed”.
How many semitones change the key?
Each semitone is one step: +2 moves a song from C to D, −3 from A to F♯. Twelve semitones are a full octave.
Will the quality drop?
Shifts of a few semitones sound natural. Very large shifts can sound metallic, as with any pitch shifter.
Is my file uploaded?
No. All processing happens in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
