How do I slow down a song without changing the pitch?
Updated:
Open the Music Speed Changer, drop the song and move the Speed slider below 1×. The pitch stays the same by default, so the song keeps its key. Preview 10 seconds, then press Apply and save.
What are the steps?
- Open the Music Speed Changer and drop a song or audio file.
- Move the Speed slider below 1×: 0.75× is a good speed for practice, 0.5× is half speed.
- Leave “Change the pitch with the speed” off, so the song stays in the same key.
- Press Preview 10 seconds to hear how it sounds.
- Press Apply and save, then download the slower version.
Can I speed a song up the same way?
Yes. Move the slider above 1×, up to double speed. For a higher, sped-up sound, turn on “Change the pitch with the speed” or choose the Sped up or Nightcore style.
How do I make a slowed + reverb version?
Use the Slowed + Reverb tool: it lowers the speed and pitch together and adds reverb, and you can adjust both before saving.
Does slowing a song down lower its quality?
At moderate speeds such as 0.75× the sound stays clear. Very slow speeds can sound slightly smeared, as with any tempo change, so preview before saving.
